We stayed this past weekend for the Oceans Calling festival and the location was perfect, just steps from the boardwalk. Host was very responsive and had no issues the entire weekend. Would definitely stay there again.

Pleasant stay and safe. Had a little Miss app with the lock on the door but her husband came and replaced it right away. I will recommend friends and colleagues to stay at Marcia’s place anytime. She’s a great hostess.

We found this apartment after another host canceled last minute due to unforeseen difficulties. We were very fortunate to find a nice, pet friendly place, last minute on a holiday weekend and SO close to the beach! It was just what we needed. Marcia was super attentive. Would happily stay with her again.

Marcia's place was great for me, my wife and two kids (ages 5 & 1). The location was great and the communication with Marcia was very easy and felt very accommodating. The only thing I'll note that was slightly confusing is that the listing mentioned "on site parking," and there is a spot on site for a different unit. Our unit had a spot that was about a 1 1/2 blocks away. It didn't ruin the week by any means, I'm just mentioning it as a heads up. There are really only two negative comments I could make, and they would be things not necessarily in Marcia's control: 1. Dishes in the cupboards were dirty, I assume they were "washed" by the previous tenants. I definitely don't have a problem with a few specks on dishes in my own house, but in a constantly changing tenant living space it seemed nasty of the previous tenants to leave dishes that unclean. There also was a piece of clear broken glass about the size of a pencil eraser on the floor near the edge of the couchbed. It took my 1 year old about 30 seconds of being in the place to go for it. The kids above us were probably highschool or college age, very loud and puked over their railing onto ours and a vehicle hood that was not their vehicle. I don't think the vomit was ever cleaned over the last 2-3 days of our stay. I was young once too, so I know they had fun, but they could've cleaned it up. Again, none of those things were Marcia's fault, she wouldn't have been able to know about any of it unless we complained. I'm sure Marcia would've remedied the situation for any complaint, but each thing felt trivial and did not negatively impact our overall outlook on the trip. I put those issues on bad tenants. The positives far outweighed the negatives. Proximity to the beach and boardwalk were great. Several restaurants and a small grocer were nearby. If you want to buy seafood to cook youself and need a lot of groceries, then you'll have to drive to a bigger grocery store. Before my family woke up each morning and after they went to bed I got in a little fishing along the inlet rock pier with some decent success. The only time I contacted Marcia after the initial checkin was after the wifi had been out for a day, and Marcia was quick to respond and right the situation. We like to try different areas and places in our vacations, but always end up in OC every few years. The next time we return to OC I will definitely consider Marcia's place and would recommend it for all ages and many purposes for travelers. Thanks for the great place Marcia!

This was a great stay. Clean, amazing location, private parking space available a couple of blocks away from the stay and allows pets!

Overall, Marcia was a great host but there are some things you should consider before preparing your stay here. There were limited “amenities”, some things were unavailable such as toilet paper, paper towels, a sponge for dishes, bath towels, and a broom dustpan (for the sand!). Check-in is not contactless. There were no self Check-in/out instructions provided on the day of the stay and we had to meet the host in order to gain the access code and shown to the private parking. These are all minor inconveniences you can prepare for if this was communicated in the listing. But Marcia was readily available by cell for any questions. I would definitely stay with this host again.

Honestly, I feel bad having to write this because I understand that so many people have been struggling to just put food on the table. Having said that, we are in a global pandemic and when you go somewhere for business or a vacation, you’d expect it to be as clean as possible. This place was disgusting. Hair all over the shower/tub/sink in the bathroom. Old deodorant in the kitchen sink. Sticky kitchen counter tops. And stains all over the bedding/sheets that looked like they were from 20 years ago... However, that wasn’t even my main concern. I did not feel safe in this unit. Not only did the keypad handle move a substantial amount when you opened the door but the deadbolt lock on top had no faceplate or hole to even secure the door. On top of that, we had someone stand at the front steps of the unit and stare at our door for 3 hours the night we arrived. We originally were supposed to stay for three nights, after arriving at 6pm the first night, we were out of there by the next morning. Although Marcia did refund me for not staying two nights, I believe a full refund was warranted because of the condition the unit was in. Even a resident who rents a unit for the last few years told me he doesn’t blame us for leaving when I had a conversation with him while I was packing up the car. For about 250 bucks more, we stayed at the Residence Inn by Marriott Ocean City on 61st (1000% better). Ocean city is a fun town and having a great place to stay that you feel comfortable in could make or break your trip. Good luck!!!

Had a great stay - this was in a perfect location!

Marcia’s place was great. Perfect location right in the heart of all the action. 1 min walk to the boardwalk and beach. 5 minute walk to inlet. For being right in the heart of the livelier side the townhouse was super quiet. Couldn’t hear any noise from the outside or neighbors. Great access to the park to walk our dog. Plenty of dishes and great sized stove, fridge and microwave for at home cooking. Our family loved staying here and look forward to returning!

Not only was this property clean, well decorated, and beautiful; it was in the perfect location, steps away from the beach, boardwalk, restaurants, and shops. Marcia was a wonderful host, who communicated with her guests very well. This was a great experience all around.

This unit is in a great location...steps away from the beach. The unit is updated with new flooring and bathroom/kitchen cabinets. Marcia is a phone call away if you have any issues.

A wonderful vacation home to stay in that is walking distance from the boardwalk and the bay. A cozy place to rest and relax.
